a unique blend of pregnancy yoga with an antenatal class.
The yoga
Each class includes simple, flowing movements, combined with breathing and relaxation techniques. This nourishing style of pregnancy yoga is suitable for everyone, from complete beginners to those with more experience. The postures are specially adapted to suit your changing body, making them safe and effective. You will also learn different breathing styles as well as affirmations and hypno-birthing techniques, so that you can discover what feels good to you.
Many of the yoga postures we practice are similar to positions you will naturally use in labour. Evidence shows that these upright and forward leaning positions can make labour smoother and less painful. Becoming familiar with these positions during pregnancy can give you the confidence and strength to use them during your labour.
The chat
Each class allows time for questions and to share information on any pregnancy/birth/parent hood related topic from pregnancy nutrition to labour pain relief to baby equipment! If it’s your first pregnancy then you will also have the invaluable tips, advice and support of those who are already mothers.
New mamas regularly return to class to share their birth stories and introduce their babies. By listening to these real experiences, the wisdom and questions that are shared, you can begin to form your own ideas around the birth you want.

How it works:
Your first class is £15.
You are then invited to book a subscription of 6 classes @ £90
Availability changes all the time, so please get in touch using the enquires button bellow to check if there’s space on the class/date you wish to start.
All 6 classes must be used consecutively.
You can swop between the Tuesday and Thursday classes should you be unable to attend your usual class IF space allows.
Regretfully, any missed classes cannot be carried over or added to the end of your 6 weeks but you can try to attend 2 classes per week to make up for a missed class e.g. if you are on holiday or unwell. This can be requested at anytime during your 6-week subscription but I cannot guarantee it as space is limited.
You are welcome to attend Yogabirth classes from 14 weeks of pregnancy until the birth of your baby.
Please note: classes are non-refundable unless in exceptional circumstances.
Classes and workshops are held at kin collective in Leith
This class has a private WhatsApp group where you can share questions and information during your pregnancy as well as asking for tips and support. It is always confidential, kind and encouraging.
